Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the heaven becomes cleft asunder, 1 And when the stars shall be scattered, 2 And when the seas are erupted 3 And when the graves are ransacked, 4 (Then) shall each soul know what it hath sent forward and (what it hath) kept back. 5 O man! What has deceived you about your generous Lord 6 Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you? 7 In whatsoever form He listed He constructed thee. 8 Yet you deny the Last Judgement. 9 And indeed, [appointed] over you are keepers, 10 noble scribes, 11 Who know (all) that ye do. 12 Most surely the righteous are in bliss, 13 and the wicked shall be in the Blazing Fire. 14 roasting therein on the Day of Doom, 15 nor shall they ever be absent from it. 16 And what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 17 Again, what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 It is the Day when no one shall have the power to do anything for another, and all command shall be Allah's. 19
