And We have placed within the heaven great stars and have beautified it for the observers. 16 and have protected them against every accursed satan 17 but if anyone eavesdrops, he is pursued by a bright flaming fire. 18 And the earth have We spread out, and placed therein firm hills, and caused each seemly thing to grow therein. 19 And We have provided therein means of subsistence,- for you and for those for whose sustenance ye are not responsible. 20 And there is not a thing, but with Us are the stores thereof. And We send it not down except in a known measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing (to fill heavily the clouds with water), then caused the water (rain) to descend from the sky, and We gave it to you to drink, and it is not you who are the owners of its stores [i.e. to give water to whom you like or to withhold it from whom you like]. 22 It is We who give life, and make to die, and it is We who are the inheritors. 23 And certainly We know those of you who have gone before and We certainly know those who shall come later. 24 and it is thy Lord shall muster them, and He is All-wise, All-knowing. 25
