Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
HA MIM. 1 This Book is a revelation from the Most Mighty, the Most Wise. 2 Verily in the heavens and the earth, are Signs for those who believe. 3 And in the creation of yourselves and what He disperses of moving creatures are signs for people who are certain [in faith]. 4 As there are signs in the alternation of night and day, and in rain that God sends with which He revives the earth once dead, as there are in the changing of the winds, for people who can understand. 5 These are revelations of God which we recite to you correctly: In what other lore but God and His manifestations would they then believe? 6 Woe unto every liar, sinner! 7 Who heareth the revelations of Allah rehearsed unto him, and yet persisteth with stiff-neckedness as though he heard them not. Announce thou unto him, then, a torment afflictive. 8 And when he learns something of Our Signs, he takes them in jest: for such there will be a humiliating Penalty. 9 Hell is after them; and what they have earned will not benefit them at all, nor those whom they have chosen as supporters besides Allah; and for them is a terrible punishment. 10 This (Quran) is a guidance. Those who reject the revelations of their Lord will suffer the most painful punishment. 11
