And heaven – We made it with Our Own Power and We have the Power to do so. 47 And We made the earth a base, so how well do We lay out! 48 And of everything We have created pairs; perhaps you will take heed. 49 So turn to God. I give you a clear warning from Him. 50 And do not make [as equal] with Allah another deity. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner. 51 Even so there came no messenger unto those before them but they said: A wizard or a madman! 52 Have they handed this down from one to another? No, rather, they are an insolent nation. 53 Turn away from them. You will not be blamed. 54 Do, however, keep exhorting them; for exhortation benefits those endowed with faith. 55 And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me. 56 I do not ask any sustenance from them, nor wish that they give Me food. 57 Verily, Allah is the All-Provider, Owner of Power, the Most Strong. 58 The wrongdoers will meet the same fate as their predecessors, let them not ask Me to hasten on [the punishment], 59 Woe, then, to the Unbelievers, on account of that Day of theirs which they have been promised! 60
