Do you not see that We have set the devils against the infidels to rouse and instigate them? 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only counting against them a counting. 84 and on the Day when We will ceremonially gather the righteous to the Merciful, 85 and drive those who were lost in sin unto hell as a thirsty herd is driven to a well 86 None shall have the power of intercession, but such a one as has received permission (or promise) from the Most Beneficent (Allah). 87 They say: "(Allah) Most Gracious has begotten a son!" 88 Surely you have made a monstrous statement. 89 the heavens might well-nigh burst thereat, and the earth break asunder, and the mountains fall down in pieces, 90 That they should invoke a son for (Allah) Most Gracious. 91 And it does not befit the Most Gracious to choose an offspring! 92 there is none in the heavens or on the earth but shall return to the Merciful in utter submission, 93 He has counted them and calculated their number. 94 Every one of them shall come to Him upon the Day of Resurrection, all alone. 95 Lo! those who believe and do good works, the Beneficent will appoint for them love. 96 So have We made the (Qur'an) easy in thine own tongue, that with it thou mayest give Glad Tidings to the righteous, and warnings to people given to contention. 97 And how many a generation We destroyed before them! Dost thou perceive so much as one of them, or hear of them a whisper? 98
