And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein 16 When the two (angels) who keep the account, one sitting on the right, one on the left, take it down, 17 Man does not utter any word except that with him is an observer prepared [to record]. 18 The palsy of death will surely come. This is what you wished to avert. 19 And the trumpet is blown. This is the threatened Day. 20 Every soul will be accompanied (by an angel) behind him and another as a witness. 21 [and will be told:] "Indeed, unmindful hast thou been of this [Day of Judgment]; but now We have lifted from thee thy veil, and sharp is thy sight today!" 22 And his accompanying angel said, “This is the record of your deeds, available with me.” 23 "Cast each stubborn unbeliever into Hell," (they will be told), 24 hinderer of good, transgressor, causing others to doubt, 25 Who sets up another god with Allah, so do cast him into severe chastisement. 26 ۞ And his companion shall say: 'Our Lord, I did not make him insolent, he was far astray' 27 He will say: "Dispute not with each other in My Presence: I had already in advance sent you Warning. 28 The Sentence that comes from Me cannot be changed, and I am not unjust (to the least) to the slaves." 29
