Have you then seen him who turns his back? 33 And gave a little, then stopped (giving)? 34 Is with him knowledge of the unseen so that he seeth? 35 Or is he not informed with what is in the Pages (Scripture) of Musa (Moses), 36 And (of) Ibrahim who fulfilled (the commandments): 37 That no laden one shall bear another's load, 38 And that for man shall be naught save that wherefor he endeavoureth. 39 and that (the result of) his striving shall soon be seen, 40 then he shall be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense, 41 And that thy Lord, He is the goal; 42 And that He it is Who makes (men) laugh and makes (them) weep; 43 and that it is He alone who deals death and grants life; 44 and that He Himself created the two sexes: male and female, 45 from an ejected drop of sperm; 46 and that it is for Him to grant the second life, 47 And that it is He (Allah) Who gives much or a little (or gives wealth and contentment), 48 And that He (Allah) is the Lord of Sirius (the star which the pagan Arabs used to worship); 49 It is He who utterly destroyed the ancient tribes of Ad, 50 And Thamud (people). He spared none of them. 51 and before them the people of Noah who were even more unjust and insolent; 52 And He destroyed the overthrown cities [of Sodom to which Prophet Lout (Lot) was sent]. 53 So there covered them that which did cover (i.e. torment with stones). 54 Then which of thy Lord's bounties disputest thou? 55 This (Muhammad SAW) is a warner (Messenger) of the (series of) warners (Messengers) of old. 56 The (Judgment) ever approaching draws nigh: 57 and none but Allah can avert it. 58 Are you astonished at this news, 59 Or do you laugh, and do you not weep 60 Wasting your time in vanities? 61 So fall you down in prostration to Allah, and worship Him (Alone). ۩ 62
