The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken by the shaking thereof, 1 And the earth bringeth forth her burthens, 2 And man says, “What has happened to it?” 3 On that Day will she declare her tidings: 4 for your Lord will have revealed to it. 5 Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works, 6 So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it, 7 while whoever has done the smallest particle of evil will see it. 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
