And when Abraham said: 'My Lord, make this a land secure. Turn me and my children away from worshipping idols. 35 Many a man have they led astray, O Lord. So he who follows me is truly of me; but as for him who disobeys me, surely You are forgiving and kind. 36 O our Lord! surely I have settled a part of my offspring in a valley unproductive of fruit near Thy Sacred House, our Lord! that they may keep up prayer; therefore make the hearts of some people yearn towards them and provide them with fruits; haply they may be grateful: 37 Our Lord, Thou knowest what we keep secret and what we publish; from God nothing whatever is hidden in earth and heaven. 38 All praise be to God who bestowed on me Ishmael and Isaac in old age. Verily my Lord listens to prayer. 39 My Lord, make me an establisher of prayer, and [many] from my descendants. Our Lord, and accept my supplication. 40 "O our Lord! cover (us) with Thy Forgiveness - me, my parents, and (all) Believers, on the Day that the Reckoning will be established! 41
