And mention thou in the Book Musa: verily he was single-hearted, and was an apostle, prophet. 51 We called out to him from the right side of the mount and made him draw near to be in close communion with Us; 52 and We gave him as his helper, out of Our mercy, his brother Aaron, having made him a prophet. 53 Commemorate Ishmael in the Book. He was true of his promise, and a messenger, a prophet. 54 He used to command his people to offer prayer and give charity, and was liked by his Lord. 55 And remember Idrees in the Book; he was indeed very truthful, a Prophet. 56 whom We exalted onto a lofty station. 57 These were the Prophets from the offspring of Adam, from those who embarked with Noah and from the offspring of Abraham and Israel. God guided them and chose them for His favor. Whenever they would hear the revelations of the Beneficent God they would bow down in prostration with tears. ۩ 58 ۞ But after them there followed a posterity who missed prayers and followed after lusts soon, then, will they face Destruction,- 59 except for those who repent and believe and do good deeds. These will enter Heaven, and they will not be wronged in the least. 60 [theirs will be the] gardens of perpetual bliss which the Most Gracious has promised unto His servants, in a realm which is beyond the reach of human perception: [and,] verily, His promise is ever sure of fulfilment! 61 No empty talk will they hear there - nothing but [tidings of] inner soundness and peace; and there will they have their sustenance by day and by night: 62 That is the Garden which We will grant to those of Our servants who have been God-fearing. 63 We come not down, save at the commandment of thy Lord. To Him belongs all that is before us, and all that is behind us, and all between that. 64 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them - so worship Him and have patience for His worship. Do you know of any similarity to Him?" 65

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
