▼ 79 The Snatchers
Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
What! Are ye the more difficult to create or the heaven (above)? (Allah) hath constructed it: 27 by raising its vault high and fashioning it flawlessly, 28 And He made dark its night, and brought forth its sunshine. 29 And the earth He extended after that; 30 and brought out of it its water and its pasture, 31 and the mountains He set firm, 32 an enjoyment for you and your flocks. 33 But when the Great Catastrophe comes, 34 upon the day when man shall remember what he has striven, 35 and the blazing fire [of hell] will be laid open before all who [are destined to] see it. 36 then he who transgressed 37 And preferred the life of this world (by following his evil desires and lusts), 38 Then indeed, Hellfire will be [his] refuge. 39 And for such as had entertained the fear of standing before their Lord's (tribunal) and had restrained (their) soul from lower desires, 40 Then indeed Paradise only is his destination. 41 They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the Hour: when is its arrival? 42 What concern do you have regarding its explanation? (You are not bound to tell them) 43 This matter is in the hands of your Lord. 44 You (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) are only a warner for those who fear it, 45 It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof. 46
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
