The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 who has created and shaped, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
