Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

HAST THOU ever considered [the kind of man] who gives the lie to all moral law? 1 Who turns away the orphan, 2 and does not urge others to feed the needy. 3 Woe, then, to those who pray, 4 who become confused during their prayers, 5 Those who make a display (of their deeds). 6 Who are uncharitable even over very small things. 7

God the Almighty always says the truth.
