The people of Noah rejected the messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said unto them: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 106 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 107 fear God, and obey me. 108 I seek of you no reward for this: my reward is with none except the Lord of the Universe. 109 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in you, when the meanest (of the people) follow you?" 111 Said he: "And what knowledge could I have as to what they were doing [before they came to me]? 112 Lo! their reckoning is my Lord's concern, if ye but knew; 113 Hence, I shall not drive away [any of] those [who profess to be] believers; 114 I am none but a plain warner." 115 They said: "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will be stoned to death." 116 He said: "O my Lord! truly my people have rejected me. 117 Judge among us and save me and the believers with me". 118 Wherefore We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 Then We drowned thereafter the remaining ones. 120 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 Your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
