The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
182 verses, revealed in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By those [angels] lined up in rows 1 by those who drive away the devil (to protect Our revelation), 2 and those who recite Our revelations, 3 Verily, most surely, your God is One 4 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, and the Lord of the Easts. 5 We have adorned the lowest heaven with the beauty of the planets; 6 Protecting them against every wayward devil, 7 They cannot listen to the exalted assembly and they are thrown at from every side, 8 To make them flee, and for them is a never-ending punishment. 9 Except one who snatches [some words] by theft, but they are pursued by a burning flame, piercing [in brightness]. 10 Just ask their opinion: are they the more difficult to create, or the (other) beings We have created? Them have We created out of a sticky clay! 11 Aye! thou marvellest, and they scoff. 12 And heed not when they are reminded, 13 and when they become aware of a [divine] message, they turn it to ridicule 14 And say, "This is not but obvious magic. 15 When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, how can we be raised again, 16 along with our forefathers?" 17 Say, "Yes, and you will be [rendered] contemptible." 18 There is but one Shout, and lo! they behold, 19 They will then say: “Woe for us. This is the Day of Judgement.” 20 This is the Day of Judgment which ye were wont to belie. 21

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
