And certainly the warning came to Firon's people. 41 but they gave the lie to Our Signs, to all of them. Thereupon We seized them with the seizing of the Most Mighty, the Most Powerful. 42 Are your disbelievers better than those, or have ye some immunity in the scriptures? 43 Or do they say: 'We are a gathering that will be victorious' 44 Certainly the host shall be routed, and turn their backs. 45 Aye! the Hour is their appointed term, and the Hour shall be far more grievous and far more bitter. 46 The sinful ones will face the destructive torment of hell 47 on the Day when they are dragged into the fire on their faces, it will be said to them, "Now feel the touch of Hell!" 48 Surely We have created everything in measure. 49 and Our ordaining [a thing and its coming into being] is but one [act,] like the twinkling of an eye. 50 We have indeed destroyed many a people like you. Is there anyone who would receive admonition? 51 And each and everything they have done is noted in (their) Records (of deeds). 52 Every small or great deed is written down. 53 Lo! the righteous will dwell among gardens and rivers, 54 In the seat of honor with a most Powerful King. 55
