۞ I do not need to swear by the setting of the stars 75 And verily, that is indeed a great oath, if you but know. 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 Kept in a secure Book. 78 which none but the pure [of heart] can touch: 79 It has been revealed by the Lord of all the worlds. 80 Would you say that this statement is a lie? 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 Then why, when the soul at death reaches the throat 83 And you at the moment are looking on, 84 We are closer to him than you, even though you cannot see? 85 Then why is it not-- if you are not held under authority-- 86 Bring it back, if you should be truthful? 87 Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah, 88 then happiness and delight and Gardens of Bliss are his. 89 And if he is one of the People on the Right, 90 Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right." 91 But if he is of the rejecters, the erring, 92 Then an entertainment of boiling water. 93 And burning in Hellfire 94 Indeed, this is the certain truth. 95 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 96
