But what is the matter with the unbelievers, that they strain their glances continuously towards them, 36 towards thee on the right hand and on the left hand in knots? 37 Does every one of them aspire to be admitted into a Garden of Delight? 38 Nay, verily. Lo! We created them from what they know. 39 But nay! I call to witness the Lord of the Easts and the Wests, that We have the power 40 To replace them by others better than they; and We are not to be outrun. 41 So leave them to engage in vain talk and to amuse themselves until they come face to face with the Day which they are promised, 42 The Day whereon they shall come forth from the sepulchres hastily, as though they were to an altar hurrying. 43 with downcast eyes and faces distorted in shame; such is the Day which they are promised. 44
