Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the (winds) sent forth in quick succession, 1 Which then blow violently in tempestuous Gusts, 2 And by the winds that scatter clouds and rain; 3 Then separate them one from another, 4 and those hurling a reminder 5 As justification or warning, 6 Surely that which ye are promised will befall. 7 When the stars lose their light, 8 The heavens split asunder, 9 And when the mountains are blown away 10 and when the Messengers' time is set 11 If one asks, "To which day have such calamitous events been postponed?" 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 What will explain to you what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 15 Destroyed We not the former folk, 16 Then We will follow them with the later ones. 17 Thus do We deal with the criminals. 18 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 19 Did We not create you from a base fluid 20 Which We laid up in a safe abode 21 for an appointed term? 22 For We do determine (according to need); for We are the best to determine (things). 23 Woe, on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 24 Made We not the earth to be a housing 25 The living and the dead, 26 place on it high mountains and provide you with fresh water? 27 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 28 Depart to that you cried was lies! 29 Proceed to that shadow, rising in three columns 30 "Neither shading, nor of any use against the fierce flame of the Fire." 31 it indeed throws up sparks like castles, 32 and as bright as a herd of yellow camels. 33 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 34 This is a Day they will not speak, 35 Nor shall they be permitted so that they might excuse themselves. 36 On that day, woe would be those who have rejected God's revelations! 37 That will be a Day of Sorting out! We shall gather you together and those before (you)! 38 if you have a trick, try you now to trick Me!' 39 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 40
