They will ask you about the mountains. Tell them: "My Lord will uproot them from the base, 105 then He will leave them a level hollow 106 You shall not see therein any crookedness or unevenness. 107 That day they will follow the summoner from whom there will be no receding; and their voices will be hushed before Ar-Rahman, and you will not hear a sound but faint shuffling. 108 That Day, no intercession will benefit except [that of] one to whom the Most Merciful has given permission and has accepted his word. 109 Allah knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, but they do not encompass it in knowledge. 110 ۞ All faces shall be humbled before the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting Lord, and he who bears the burden of iniquity will have failed; 111 But he who works deeds of righteousness, and has faith, will have no fear of harm nor of any curtailment (of what is his due). 112 And thus We have sent it down as a Quran in Arabic, and have explained therein in detail the warnings, in order that they may fear Allah, or that it may cause them to have a lesson from it (or to have the honour for believing and acting on its teachings). 113 So high exalted be God, the true King! And hasten not with the Koran ere its revelation is accomplished unto thee; and say, 'O my Lord, increase me in knowledge.' 114 And indeed before this We made a covenant with Adam, so he forgot, and We did not find its intention (in him). 115
