۞ And We inspired Musa (Moses), saying: "Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued." 52 Then the Pharaoh sent announcers to the cities, 53 "These," they said, "are only a small band, 54 they have enraged us, 55 “And indeed we are an alert army.” 56 So We made them leave the gardens and springs of water, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable position; 58 Thus it was, but We made the Children of Israel inheritors of such things. 59 And so [the Egyptians] caught up with them at sunrise; 60 And when the two hosts came in view of each other, Moses' companions said: 'We have been reached' 61 Moses said, "Certainly not. My Lord is with me and He will certainly guide me." 62 Then We revealed unto Musa, saying: smite thou the sea with thy staff. So it became separated, and each part was like unto a cliff mighty. 63 Then We brought the two parties closer. 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, all together. 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 In this there was certainly evidence (of the Truth), but most of them did not have any faith. 67 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 68
