Say: "I do no more than invoke my Lord, and I join not with Him any (false god)." 20 Say: 'Surely I possess no power over you, either for hurt or for rectitude.' 21 Say thou: verily none can protect me from Allah, nor can I find beside Him any refuge. 22 My duty is only to convey that which I receive from Him and His messages." For those who disobey God and His Messenger there is the fire of hell, wherein they will abide forever. 23 [The disbelievers continue] until, when they see that which they are promised, then they will know who is weaker in helpers and less in number. 24 Say, "I do not know if what you are promised is near or if my Lord will grant for it a [long] period." 25 (He is) the Knower of the Unseen, and He revealeth unto none His secret, 26 Save unto an apostle chosen. And then He causeth to go before him and behind him a guard. 27 So that He may know that they have truly delivered the messages of their Lord, and He encompasses what is with them and He records the number of all things. 28
