The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

When earth is shaken with a mighty shaking 1 and it throws out its burden, 2 when man asks, "What is happening to her?"; 3 on that Day will she recount all her tidings, 4 For your Lord will have commanded it. 5 On that Day mankind shall issue in scatterings to see their deeds. 6 So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it, 7 and whosoever has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
