The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin, Mim. 1 Those are the verses of the clear Book. 2 Belike thou shalt kill thyself with grief because they become not believers. 3 If We list, We can send down unto them a sign from the heaven so that their necks would become to it submissive. 4 And never comes there unto them a Reminder as a recent revelation from the Most Beneficent (Allah), but they turn away therefrom. 5 they have indeed rejected the message. But the truth of what they laughed to scorn will dawn upon them before long. 6 Have they, then, never considered the earth - how much of every noble kind [of life] We have caused to grow thereon? 7 Surely in this there is a sign, yet most of them would not believe: 8 And lo! thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
