Lo! God said: "O Jesus! Verily, I shall cause thee to die, and shall exalt thee unto Me, and cleanse thee of [the presence of] those who are bent on denying the truth; and I shall place those who follow thee [far] above those who are bent on denying the truth, unto the Day of Resurrection. In the end, unto Me you all must return, and I shall judge between you with regard to all on which you were wont to differ. 55 I shall sternly punish the unbelievers in this life and in the life to come and no one will help them. 56 As for those who have believed and do good works, they shall be given their reward in full. God does not love evil-doers. 57 THIS MESSAGE do We convey unto thee, and this tiding full of wisdom: 58 Truly, the likeness of (Prophet) Jesus with Allah, is as the likeness of Adam, He created him from dust then He said to him "Be" and he was. 59 This is the truth from thy Lord, wherefore be thou not of those who dubitate. 60 And whoso disputes with thee concerning him, after the knowledge that has come to thee, say: 'Come now, let us call our sons and your sons, our wives and your wives, our selves and your selves, then let us humbly pray and so lay God's curse upon the ones who lie.' 61 Verily this! it is the true recital; and God there is none save Allah, and verily Allah! He is the Mighty, the Wise. 62 And if they turn their backs, truly Allah knows those who cause mischief. 63
