The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the inevitable event takes place, 1 There is, at its occurrence, no denial. 2 Abasing (some), exalting (others); 3 When the earth shall be shaken to its depths, 4 And the mountains shall be crumbled to atoms, 5 So that they become a scattered dust, 6 And you will become divided into three categories. 7 Companions of the Right, what are the Companions of the Right? 8 And the companions of the left - what are the companions of the left? 9 Then the foremost, how pre-excellent, 10 Those are they who will be brought nigh 11 In the Gardens of delight (Paradise). 12 (a throng of the ancients 13 And a few from the latter. 14 On couches wrought of gold, 15 Reclining thereon, face to face. 16 There will circulate among them young boys made eternal 17 With vessels, pitchers and a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring - 18 No after-ache will they receive therefrom, nor will they suffer intoxication: 19 And with fruits, any that they may select: 20 and the flesh of birds, as they desire. 21 And [with them will be their] companions pure, most beautiful of eye, 22 Like pearls within their shells, 23 The reward for what they did. 24 There hear they no vain speaking nor recrimination 25 Only a saying: "Peace, peace." 26 NOW AS FOR those who have attained to righteousness - what of those who have attained to righteousness? 27 Among thorn-less lote-trees. 28 and clustered bananas, 29 Lengthened shadows, 30 near to flowing water 31 And fruit in plenty 32 unfailing, unforbidden, 33 And exalted thrones. 34 Verily, We have created them (maidens) of special creation. 35 Then We have made them virgins, 36 chastely amorous, 37 like of age for the Companions of the Right. 38

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
