Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

۞ Did We not expand thy breast for thee 1 relieved you of the burden 2 The which did gall thy back?- 3 And raised high the esteem (in which) thou (art held)? 4 But lo! with hardship goeth ease, 5 With hardship indeed there is ease. 6 Therefore, when thou art free (from thine immediate task), still labour hard, 7 And make your Lord your exclusive object. 8
