Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
We have indeed revealed this (Message) in the Night of Power: 1 Would that you knew what the Night of Destiny is! 2 The night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is better than a thousand months (i.e. worshipping Allah in that night is better than worshipping Him a thousand months, (i.e. 83 years and 4 months). 3 The angels and Jibreel descend in it by the permission of their Lord for every affair, 4 does it make secure, until the rise of dawn. 5
