Hast thou not seen how We sent the Satans against the unbelievers, to prick them? 83 Hence, be not in haste [to call down God's punishment] upon them: for We but number the number of their days. 84 On the day that We shall muster the godfearing to the All-merciful with pomp 85 And We will drive the guilty to hell thirsty 86 None will have [power of] intercession except he who had taken from the Most Merciful a covenant. 87 They say: "God has begotten a son." 88 Assuredly ye utter a disastrous thing 89 whereat the heavens might well-nigh be rent into fragments, and the earth be split asunder, and the mountains fall down in ruins! 90 That they ascribe a son (or offspring or children) to the Most Beneficent (Allah). 91 And it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful that He should take a son. 92 None there is in the heavens and the earth but must come unto the Compassionate as a bondman. 93 He has enumerated them and counted them a [full] counting. 94 And everyone of them will come to Him singly on the Day of Judgment. 95 Indeed, the Most Compassionate Lord will soon create enduring love for those who believe and do righteous works. 96 and only to this end have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own tongue, [O Prophet,] so that thou might convey thereby a glad tiding to the God-conscious, and warn thereby those who are given to [futile] contention: 97 And how many a generation have We destroyed before them! Perceivest thou of them anyone or hear of them a whisper? 98
