In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Alif. Lam. Mim. 1 Those are the signs of the Wise Book 2 A guidance and a mercy for the well-doers: 3 people who are steadfast in prayer, pay the religious tax, and have firm belief in the life to come. 4 These are on (true) guidance from their Lord: and these are the ones who will prosper. 5 And of men is he who takes instead frivolous discourse to lead astray from Allah's path without knowledge, and to take it for a mockery; these shall have an abasing chastisement. 6 When Our Signs are rehearsed to such a one, he turns away in arrogance, as if he heard them not, as if there were deafness in both his ears: announce to him a grievous Penalty. 7 Surely those who believe and do good deeds shall have Gardens of Bliss. 8 To abide therein. It is a Promise of Allah in truth. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. 9 He has created the skies without any support that you could see, and has placed firm mountains upon the earth, lest it sway with you, and has caused all manner of living creatures to multiply thereon. And We sent down water from the skies, and thus We made every kind of excellent plant grow there: 10 This is Allah's creation, but show Me what those besides Him have created. Nay, the unjust are in manifest error 11
