And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the rest [i.e. the towns of Sodom at the place of the Dead Sea (now) in Palestine].
