Lo, the Tree of Ez-Zakkoum 43 Is food for the sinful. 44 Like dregs of oil; it shall boil in (their) bellies, 45 like the boiling of burning despair. 46 (And it will be said): Take him and drag him to the midst of hell, 47 Then pour upon his head the torment of boiling water. 48 "Taste you (this)! Verily, you were (pretending to be) the mighty, the generous! 49 "Truly this is what ye used to doubt!" 50 [As against this] verily, the God-conscious will find themselves in a state secure, 51 amidst gardens and fountains, 52 wearing [garments] of silk and brocade, facing one another [in love]. 53 So it is; and We have wedded them to maidens with gorgeous eyes. 54 There in security, they will call for every kind of fruit. 55 They will not taste death therein, except the first death; and He will preserve them from the torment of the Flaming Fire. 56 As a Bounty from thy Lord! that will be the supreme achievement! 57 And indeed, We have eased the Qur'an in your tongue that they might be reminded. 58 So watch, [O Muhammad]; indeed, they are watching [for your end]. 59
