Al-Hummazah

The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Ruin is for every open slanderer, backbiter. 1 who amasses wealth and counts it, 2 He thinketh that his wealth will render him immortal. 3 No! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher. 4 What shall let you know what the Crusher is? 5 The Fire of God kindled 6 the Fire that shall rise to the hearts (of criminals). 7 Surely it shall be closed over upon them, 8 In extended columns. 9

God the Almighty always says the truth.
