Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ WHEN THE SKY is split asunder, 1 And when the stars become dispersed, 2 And when the seas are made to flow forth, 3 and the graves are turned inside out, 4 the soul shall know what it has done, the former and the latter. 5 O man! What has seduced thee from thy Lord Most Beneficent?- 6 Who created you then formed your symmetry, then gave you right proportion, 7 He moulded you into whatever shape He willed. 8 Yet you deny the Last Judgement. 9 And indeed there are some guardians over you. 10 The honourable recorders. 11 Who know (all) that ye do. 12 Indeed, the righteous shall (live) in bliss. 13 And verily the ungodly shall be in a Scorch. 14 which they will enter on the Day of Judgment 15 and from it they shall never be absent. 16 They will never be able to escape from it. Would that you knew what the Day of Judgment is! 17 Again, what could let you know what the Day of Recompense is! 18 It is the Day when a soul will not possess for another soul [power to do] a thing; and the command, that Day, is [entirely] with Allah. 19
