The Poets (Alshu'araa')

227 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah) before The Ant (Al-Naml)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

۞ Ta Sin Mim. 1 Those are the verses of the clear Book. 2 You will perhaps kill yourself with anguish because they are not accepting the faith. 3 We could send down from the heavens a sign to them if We pleased, before which their heads would remain bowed. 4 A fresh remembrance has never come to them from the Merciful, except they turn away from it. 5 They have indeed rejected (the Message): so they will know soon (enough) the truth of what they mocked at! 6 Did they not look at the earth - how much We have produced therein from every noble kind? 7 Surely, in this there is a sign yet most of them do not believe. 8 Your Lord is surely mighty and merciful. 9
