A numerous company from among the first, 39 And a numerous company from among the last. 40 As for the People on the Left: how miserable will be the People on the Left! 41 Amidst scorching wind and scalding water. 42 and a shade of thick, pitch-black smoke, 43 Neither cool nor beneficial. 44 Surely they had lived before in luxury, 45 And they persisted in the great violation. 46 ever saying, 'What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we indeed be raised up? 47 "And also our forefathers?" 48 Tell them, (O Prophet): “The earlier ones and the later ones 49 "They will all be gathered together - on the appointed time of the known day." 50 Then you went astray, you that belied, 51 Will be eating from trees of zaqqum 52 "Then you will fill your bellies therewith, 53 and shall drink boiling water on top of that. 54 drink it as the most insatiably thirsty camels drink!" 55 This is their reception on the Day of Justice. 56 We! it is We Who created you: wherefore confess ye not? 57 Have you considered the seed you spill? 58 Is it you who create it (i.e. make this semen into a perfect human being), or are We the Creator? 59 We mete out death among you, and We are not to be outrun, 60 That We may substitute others like unto you and produce you into that which ye know not. 61 And you have indeed learnt about the first creation, so why do you not ponder? 62 Have you considered what you sow? 63 Cause it ye to grow, or are We the Grower? 64 If We so pleased, We could turn your harvest into chaff. Then you would start lamenting, 65 Verily we are undone. 66 nay, we have been robbed!' 67 So what is your opinion regarding the water that you drink? 68 Is it you who brought it down from the clouds, or is it We who bring it down? 69 If We had so pleased, We could have made it bitter. So why would you not give thanks? 70 Have you ever considered the fire which you kindle? 71 Is it you that originated its tree, or are We the Originator? 72 It is We who have made it as a reminder and a means of comfort for the people. 73 (Muhammad), glorify your Lord, the Great One. 74

Notes and Instructions

Click or tap the triangle to the left of "random" to go to a random page before the current page, or the triangle to the right to go to a random page after the current page. Using these features of ColorfulQuran.com, you can use the right triangle or arrowhead to skim through the entire Holy Book from the first Surah, The Key (Al-Fatihah), to the last, The People (An-Nas), in a few minutes while stopping at random pages in between. This will make your readings cluster more on Juz Amma's short surahs at the end of the Quran. You can also do the same in reverse order using the left triangle or arrowhead, which will cluster your readings more at the beginning of the Holy Quran.
