The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs), 2 by the dawn-raiders 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 He himself bears witness to that. 7 for, verily, to the love of wealth is he most ardently devoted. 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
