'Lord' said Moses, 'expand my chest, 25 "And ease my task for me; 26 And loose a knot from my tongue, 27 That they may understand my saying. 28 and appoint for me a helper from among my family, 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 by him confirm my strength, 31 And let him share my task 32 “In order that we may profusely proclaim Your Purity.” 33 and remember you often. 34 Verily, Thou seest all that is within us!" 35 He said: surely thou art granted thy petition, O Musa! 36 And We had already conferred favor upon you another time, 37 When we inspired in thy mother that which is inspired, 38 Saying! cast him in the ark, and cast him into the river, and the river will throw him on the bank, and then an enemy of Mine and an enemy of his will take him up. And I cast on thee love from Me in order that thou mayest be formed under Mine eye. 39 "Behold! thy sister goeth forth and saith, 'shall I show you one who will nurse and rear the (child)?' So We brought thee back to thy mother, that her eye might be cooled and she should not grieve. Then thou didst slay a man, but We saved thee from trouble, and We tried thee in various ways. Then didst thou tarry a number of years with the people of Midian. Then didst thou come hither as ordained, O Moses! 40 "And I have Istana'tuka, for Myself. 41 "Go you and your brother with My Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), and do not, you both, slacken and become weak in My Remembrance. 42 Then go to the Pharaoh as he has become exceedingly rebellious. 43 Then say to him a gentle saying; haply he may be admonished or he may fear. 44 'O our Lord,' said Moses and Aaron, 'truly we fear he may exceed against us, or wax insolent.' 45 He said, “Do not fear – I am with you, All Hearing and All Seeing.” 46 So go to him and say, 'Indeed, we are messengers of your Lord, so send with us the Children of Israel and do not torment them. We have come to you with a sign from your Lord. And peace will be upon he who follows the guidance. 47 ‘It has indeed been revealed to us that the punishment is upon the one who denies and turns away.’” 48 (Pharaoh) said: Who then is the Lord of you twain, O Moses? 49 Moses replied, "Our Lord is He who has given everything its form, then guided it." 50 He then asked, "What do you know about the past generations?" 51 [Musa (Moses)] said: "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord, in a Record. My Lord is neither unaware nor He forgets, " 52 [It is He] who has made for you the earth as a bed [spread out] and inserted therein for you roadways and sent down from the sky, rain and produced thereby categories of various plants. 53 Eat, and graze your cattle; indeed in this are signs for people of intellect. 54
