Say thou: I simply call upon Allah, and I associate not with Him any-one. 20 Say, "I do not possess any power to harm or benefit you". 21 Say: "Verily, no one could ever protect me from God, nor could I ever find a place to hide from Him 22 (It is) only a delivering (of communications) from Allah and His messages; and whoever disobeys Allah and His Apostle surely he shall have the fire of hell to abide therein for a long time. 23 When they see that which they were promised they shall know who is weaker in helpers and fewer in numbers. 24 Say, "I do not know if what you are promised is near or if my Lord will grant for it a [long] period." 25 "He (alone) knows the Unseen, nor does He make any one acquainted with His Mysteries,- 26 Except to him whom He chooses as an apostle; for surely He makes a guard to march before him and after him, 27 "That He may know that they have (truly) brought and delivered the Messages of their Lord: and He surrounds (all the mysteries) that are with them, and takes account of every single thing." 28
True are the words of God the Almighty.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
