۞ And those who do not hope for Our meeting, say: Why have not angels been sent down upon us, or (why) do we not see our Lord? Now certainly they are too proud of themselves and have revolted in great revolt. 21 The Day they see the angels,- no joy will there be to the sinners that Day: The (angels) will say: "There is a barrier forbidden (to you) altogether!" 22 We shall advance upon what work they have done, and make it a scattered dust. 23 On that Day, the companions of Paradise (will have) a better abode and a finer restingplace. 24 And on the day when the heaven shall burst asunder with the clouds, and the angels shall be sent down descending (in ranks). 25 and the Absolute kingdom will belong to the Beneficent God. 26 On the Day when the wrong-doer shall gnaw his hands saying: would that I had taken with the apostle a way! 27 Woe alas, ah would I had not taken so-and-so as friend! 28 "He did lead me astray from the Message (of Allah) after it had come to me! Ah! the Evil One is but a traitor to man!" 29 And the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) will say: "O my Lord! Verily, my people deserted this Quran (neither listened to it, nor acted on its laws and orders). 30 And thus have We made for every prophet an enemy from among the criminals. But sufficient is your Lord as a guide and a helper. 31 Those who reject Faith say: "Why is not the Qur'an revealed to him all at once? Thus (is it revealed), that We may strengthen thy heart thereby, and We have rehearsed it to thee in slow, well-arranged stages, gradually. 32 And no question do they bring to thee but We reveal to thee the truth and the best explanation (thereof). 33 (As for) those who shall be gathered upon their faces to hell, they are in a worse plight and straying farther away from the path. 34
