Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By the morning brightness, 1 and by the night when it covers the world with peace: 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 The Last shall be better for you than the First. 4 Thy Lord shall give thee, and thou shalt be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? 6 Did He not find you wandering about and give you guidance? 7 And did He not find you in need and make you rich? 8 As for the orphan, do not oppress him, 9 Nor repulse the petitioner (unheard); 10 and proclaim the bounty of your Lord. 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
