The people of Nooh denied the Noble Messengers. 105 Recall when their brother Noah said to them: "Do you have no fear? 106 I am for you a faithful Messenger, 107 so serve you God, and obey you me. 108 I ask no payment from you for my preaching. The Lord of the Universe will give me my reward. 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, “Shall we believe in you, whereas the abject people are with you?” 111 He said, "And what is my knowledge of what they used to do? 112 Their account is only upon my Lord, if you [could] perceive. 113 “And I will not repel the Muslims.” 114 I am only a Prophet. 115 They said: "If thou desist not, O Noah! thou shalt be stoned (to death)." 116 He said, 'My Lord, my people have cried me lies, 117 So open between me and them an opening, and save me and the believers who are with me' 118 So We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them were not believers. 121 And thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
