Is the case of those to whom We have promised good things - which they will certainly receive in the life to come - equal to the case of those to whom We have granted the means of enjoyment in the worldly life and who will certainly be questioned about them in the life to come? 61 And [warn of] the Day He will call them and say, "Where are My 'partners' which you used to claim?" 62 Those against whom the charge will be proved, will say: "Our Lord! These are the ones whom we led astray: we led them astray, as we were astray ourselves: we free ourselves (from them) in Thy presence: it was not us they worshipped." 63 Then they will be told, "Call upon your partners." And they will call upon them, but will receive no answer. They shall witness the punishment. If only they had allowed themselves to be guided. 64 On that Day God will call out to them, saying, "What answer did you give to Our messengers?" 65 Then the pleas shall become obscure to them on that day, so they shall not ask each other. 66 Howbeit, whosoever shall repent and believe, and work righteous works - belike he shall be of the thrivers. 67 And your Lord creates whatever He wills, and chooses; they do not have any power to choose; Purity and Supremacy are to Allah above their ascribing partners (to Him). 68 And your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they manifest. 69 He is God: there is no god but Him. All Praise is due to Him in this world and the hereafter. His is the Judgement and to Him you shall be returned. 70 Say thou: bethink ye, if Allah made night continuous for you till the Day of Resurrection, what god is there beside Allah, who would bring you light? Hearken ye not? 71 Say: "Did you consider: if Allah were to make the day become perpetual over you till the Day of Judgement, is there a god other than Allah who can bring in night for you that you may repose in it? Will you not see?" 72 And out of His mercy He has made for you the night and the day, that you may rest therein, and that you may seek of His grace, and that you may give thanks. 73 The Day that He will call on them, He will say: "Where are my 'partners'? whom ye imagined (to be such)?" 74 And from each people We shall draw a witness, and shall say to them: "Do produce your evidence now." Then they shall know that the Truth is with Allah alone, and the lies which they had invented will forsake them. 75
