Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 guided them to the right path, 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
