Nay, and by the moon, 32 And by the Night as it retreateth, 33 And by oath of the morning, when it spreads light. 34 Verily, it (Hell, or their denial of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, or the Day of Resurrection) is but one of the greatest calamities. 35 A warning to mankind,- 36 Unto him of you who will advance or hang back. 37 Every soul will be (held) in pledge for its deeds. 38 except those of the right hand 39 who will be in Paradise 40 concerning the sinners, 41 'What thrusted you into Sakar?' 42 They said, “We never used to offer the prayer.” 43 and we did not feed the needy. 44 and we plunged along with the plungers, 45 and we cried lies to the Day of Doom, 46 "Until there came to us (the Hour) that is certain." 47 So no intercession of intercessors will be of any use to them. 48 Then what is wrong with them that they turn away from admonition, 49 As if they were startled donkeys – 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Indeed, everyone of them desires to have sheets of revelations unfolded before them -- 52 No indeed; but they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 No! Indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder 54 So, whoever wills, will remember it. 55 But they [who do not believe in the life to come] will not take it to heart unless God so wills: [for] He is the Fount of all God-consciousness, and the Fount of all forgiveness. 56
