Are you more difficult to create or the heavens? He built it, 27 high above? 28 Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light). 29 And after that He spread the earth, 30 and has caused its waters to come out of it, and its pastures, 31 And the mountains! He established them firm: 32 All this was done as a means of enjoyment for you and your cattle. 33 But when there comes the greatest catastrophe (i.e. the Day of Recompense, etc.), 34 the human being will recall whatever he has done. 35 and when Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 So as for he who transgressed 37 And who preferred the life of the world, 38 will find himself in Hell; 39 But as for he who feared the position of his Lord and prevented the soul from [unlawful] inclination, 40 paradise will truly be the goal! 41 They will question you about the Hour: 'When shall it be' 42 Wherein art thou (concerned) with the declaration thereof? 43 Your Lord alone knows when it will come; 44 You are only a warner to him who has a fear of it. 45 It shall be as if; on the day they see it, they have but tarried for an evening, or its forenoon. 46
