Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By the bright forenoon, 1 And by oath of the night when it covers, 2 Thy Sustainer has not forsaken thee, nor does He scorn thee: 3 The Last shall be better for you than the First. 4 Thy Lord shall give thee, and thou shalt be satisfied. 5 Has He not found thee an orphan, and given thee shelter? 6 Did He not find you wandering, and give you guidance? 7 Did He not find thee destitute and enrich (thee)? 8 Therefor the orphan oppress not, 9 and him that seeks [thy] help shalt thou never chide, 10 and proclaim the bounty of your Lord. 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
