Beholdest thou not that We have sent the satans upon the infidels inciting them by an incitement? 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only counting against them a counting. 84 The Day shall soon come when We shall bring together the God-fearing to the Most Compassionate Lord, as honoured guests; 85 And shall drive the culprits to Hell as a herd. 86 They shall not own intercession, excepting those who have taken of the Compassionate a covenant. 87 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." 88 Assuredly ye have brought a thing monstrous. 89 At it the skies are ready to burst, the earth to split asunder, and the mountains to fall down in utter ruin, 90 because they ascribe a son to the Gracious One. 91 And it is not worthy of the Beneficent Allah that He should take (to Himself) a son. 92 Not one of the beings in the heavens and the earth but must come to (Allah) Most Gracious as a servant. 93 Verily He knoweth them and numbereth them with (right) numbering. 94 And everyone of them will come to Him alone on the Day of Resurrection (without any helper, or protector or defender). 95 VERILY, those who attain to faith and do righteous deeds will the Most Gracious endow with love: 96 We have therefore made this Qur’an easy upon your tongue, (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) for you to announce glad tidings with it to those who fear, and warn those who are quarrelsome. 97 How many generations have We destroyed before them! Do you sense even one of them, or hear a whisper from them? 98
