Say (O Muhammad SAW): " My Lord! If You would show me that with which they are threatened (torment), 93 exclude me from the unjust people". 94 Assuredly, We are able to show thee that We promise them. 95 [But whatever they may say or do,] repel the evil [which they commit] with something that is better: We are fully aware of what they attribute [to Us]. 96 Say: "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the evil promptings of the devils. 97 “And my Lord, (I seek) Your refuge from their coming to me.” 98 lt ceaseth not until when death cometh to one of them, and he saith: my Lord! send me back. 99 that I should do righteousness in that I forsook' No! It is only a word which he will speak. Behind them there shall stand a barrier till the Day that they shall be resurrected. 100 And when the trumpet is blown there will be no kinship among them that day, nor will they ask of one another. 101 It will be an Hour when those whose scales are heavy, they alone will attain success; 102 And he whose balances shall be light - these are they who have lost themselves; in Hell they are abiders. 103 The fire lashes their faces and therein are shriveled lips. 104 (We shall say): 'Were My verses not recited to you, and did you not belie them' 105 They shall say: O our Lord! our adversity overcame us and we were an erring people: 106 Our Lord! Take us out of this. Then if we revert (to evil-doing) we shall indeed be wrongdoers." 107 He will say: 'Slink there in it and do not speak to Me' 108 Lo! there was a party of My slaves who said: Our Lord! We believe, therefor forgive us and have mercy on us for Thou art Best of all who show mercy; 109 But you ridiculed them. So much so that out of (spite) for them you forgot to remember Me and laughed at them. 110 On this day I have given them their reward for their exercising patience and it is they who have triumphed." 111 He will say, “How long did you stay on earth, counting by the number of years? 112 They will reply. "We remained for about a day or part of it, but ask those who have kept count". 113 God will say, "You have indeed remained there for a short time. Would that you knew it during your life time. 114 Did you think that We had created you for a playful purpose and that you were not to return to Us?" 115 So exalted be Allah, the True King! there is no god but he, Lord of the Throne honoured. 116 And whoever invokes (or worships), besides Allah, any other ilah (god), of whom he has no proof, then his reckoning is only with his Lord. Surely! Al-Kafirun (the disbelievers in Allah and in the Oneness of Allah, polytheists, pagans, idolaters, etc.) will not be successful. 117 (Muhammad), say, "Lord, forgive me and grant me mercy; You are the best of the Merciful Ones. 118
