Commemorate Our Servant Job. Behold he cried to his Lord: "The Evil One has afflicted me with distress and suffering!" 41 "Go swiftly to the spring," (We said). "This cold water is for bathing and for drinking." 42 And We bestowed on him (again) his household and therewith the like thereof, a mercy from Us, and a memorial for men of understanding. 43 And take in your hand a green branch and beat her with It and do not break your oath; surely We found him patient; most excellent the servant! Surely he was frequent in returning (to Allah). 44 Remember Our votaries Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, men of power and insight. 45 Verily We exalted them in consideration of a sterling quality: their remembrance of the Abode of the Hereafter. 46 And verily they are with us of the elect of the excellent ones. 47 And call to mind Ishmael and Elisha, and every one who [like them] has pledged himself [unto Us]: for, each of them was of the truly good! 48 This is a reminder. And lo! for those who ward off (evil) is a happy journey's end, 49 #NAME? 50 They will be resting therein and will be able to ask for many kinds of fruit and drink. 51 ۞ And with them will be women limiting [their] glances and of equal age. 52 This is what you were promised on the Day of Reckoning: 53 Our provision for you will never be exhausted. 54 This (is for the righteous). And lo! for the transgressors there with be an evil journey's end, 55 Hell, where they will be roasted. An evil place to dwell! 56 This, [then, for them] so let them taste it: burning despair and ice-cold darkness 57 and other torments of the like kind coupled together. 58 (We shall say to their leaders): 'This is a troop rushing in with you, there is no welcome for them, they shall roast in the Fire' 59 [And] they [who had been seduced] will exclaim: "Nay, but it is you! No welcome to you! It is you who have prepared this for us: and how vile a state to abide in!" 60 They will say: our Lord! whosever hath brought this upon us, unto him increase doubly the torment of the Fire. 61 They will say to one another: “But why do we not see those whom we considered him among the wicked? 62 [and] whom we made the target of our derision? Or is it that [they are here, and] our eyes have missed them?" 63 Lo! that is very truth: the wrangling of the dwellers in the Fire. 64
